The exhibition Suomi Jazz 100 | Pori Jazz 60 explores the hundred-year history of Finnish jazz and the 60-year journey of the Pori Jazz Festival. It shows how the development of jazz in Finland and a festival born in Pori have grown together and shaped one another over the decades.
From early “noise jazz” to international stages, the exhibition highlights the musicians, communities, and turning points that made Pori a jazz city and Pori Jazz an important part of Finland’s cultural history.
The exhibition is produced by Mikko Peltola and Jarmo Huida.
