Satakunta Museum’s beloved elves take over the Signs of Life permanent exhibition! The elves share stories about their extensive family, Finnish folklore, and age-old beliefs that still live on today – though often in new, modern forms.

Christmas elves are busy at work! This lively and colorful crew is making the last missing gifts, wrapping presents, and arranging them for Christmas Eve. Still, they also take time to enjoy cozy breaks in good company. Keen-eyed visitors might catch a glimpse of a shy sauna elf or notice a stable elf caring for the animals. And what about the watchful elves? They might already be on the move…

The Elves exhibition will be on display as part of the Signs of Life exhibition at Satakunta Museum from November 11, 2025, to January 6, 2026.
